EQAVET Annual Network Meeting held in Bucharest

EQAVET Annual Network Meeting was took place in Bucharest, Romania, on 13 and 14 June 2019. It was organised jointly by the EQAVET Secretariat, the European Commission and the Ministry of National Education and National Centre for Technical and Vocational Education and Training Development, Romania.
First plenary session was on EQAVET within EU policy context. Ken Bois d'Enghien from European Commission presented quality assurance in VET in EU policy context, Sean Feerick and Arancha Oviedo from EQAVET Secretariat presented report on implementing the 2018-2019 Work Programme, and EQAVET expert Giorgio Alluli presented the study on Erasmus + EQAVET NRP projects.
Group discussion on further development of EQAVET to support the future European cooperation on VET followed, and the results were discussed on the second day of the meeting.
Second plenary session focused on NRPs’ work programmes supported by Erasmus+, more specifically, on the ways how NRP projects can contribute to the policy context. Presentations were held by Michele Grombeer from Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) and NRPs' representatives from Romania (Carmen Mușat), Slovakia (Lubica Gállová) and Greece (Antonios Glaros).
In scope of the meeting, Erasmus + project „EQAVET in practice“ (Ali Rashidi, project coordinator, Folkuniversitetet Uppsala), ETF’s work on QA in VET (Mounir Baati) and ISO 21001 tool for educational institutions (Sandra Feliciano, Knowledge Innovation Centre) were presented and discussed.
