Erasmus + project: Support to the activities of the European Quality Assurance in Vocational Education and Training (EQAVET) National Reference Points (NRP)

Agency for VET and Adult Education has succesfully applied for the project 'Support to the activities of the European Quality Assurance in Vocational Education and Training (EQAVET) National Reference Points (NRP)' within Erasmus+ programme, whose main goal is the improvement of QA system in VET on national level, in accordance with the Recommendation of the European Parliament and of the Council on   the   establishment   of   a   European   Quality   Assurance   Reference   Framework   for   Vocational Education  and  Training and has received a project selection decision from European Commission and EACEA - Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency.

The purpose of the project is the development of mechanisms for QA in VET and self-evaluation process within the context of the EQAVET network programmes implementation. Its achievement is planned via improvement of the capacities of Croatian National Reference Point, qavet.hr, strengthening collaboration with other NRPs, as well as through informing a great number of stakeholders about the activities of the network and result dissemination, Two priorities on which the project will focus and are defined by the EQAVET Strategic Plan 2016/2017 are:

I. Strengthening mutual cooperation among NRPs in order to address implementation – NRPs and the work with VET providers

Within the project a series of bilateral and multilateral cooperation activities dedicated to the exchanges of good practices, new ideas and solutions regarding QA in VET schools. Agency will also organise a two-day peer-learning activity (PLA) with the participation of national and international experts, NRP members from various countries, and will focus on self-evaluation of VET schools and QA for work-based learning (WBL).

II. Deepening the culture of quality assurance of VET – the importance of feedback loops and the review phase of the quality cycle

 

EU grant for the project is 30 402 EUR, and the project implementation period is from 1 April 2016 to 31 March 2017.
