VET graduates tracking at institutional level - Hungarian approach

Study visit to Hungary with the aim of learning about Hungarian approach to VET graduate tracking on institutional level took place in Budapest and Szeged between 4 and 5 March 2019. Targeted visit for Croatian and Slovenian NRP representatives was organized by NOVETAL (Hungarian NRP) in scope of their EQAVET NRP project.
The first day of the study visit took place in Ferenc Hansági Vocational School for Tourism and Hospitality in Szeged. The school is one of the seven VET institutions that were selected to participate in the pilot phase of VET graduate tracking developed within the EQAVET NRP project in Hungary. Participants had an opportunity to get familiar with the instruments and guidelines for VET graduate tracking and hear about implementation the schools.
Second day of the visits was organized at the NOVETAL headquarters in Budapest. Following topics were presented and discussed: the development of instruments, research on motivation, existing practices and experiences that preceded the development of the instrument, as well as the proposed use of the results obtained by tracking. The proposed model is planned to be tested in two vocational schools in Slovenia.
