Workshop for reporting on VET graduate tracking for schools

A workshop for drawing up report on pilot VET graduate tracking within the EQAVET NRP project was sucessfuly held in VET school Vice Vlatković in Zadar, on 14 and 15 February 2019. A total of 9 participants from 3 VET schools involved in piloting and AVETAE members participated in the workshop led by an external expert Dubravko Bacalja.
Processed data regarding both schools in general and vocational programmes were presented, as well as processing tools and possibilities in data processing and reporting. A reporting structure was agreed upon, similar to the one of measuring instrument, and consisting of: 1) introduction, with reference to information on employability and educational paths of VET graduates, 2) methodology and 3) data and analysis presentation.
Part of the workshop was devoted to VET graduate tracking process evaluation, with particular reference to the response rate and difficulties related to data collection. One of the main conclusion is that timely preparation of graduates for future monitoring is crucial for its success, as it largely contributes to giving meaning to the process.
